Membership & Registration
 
For season 2023/2024

 

Membership – gives you access to the SBRC facilities.

​

Registration – is a compulsory Rowing Tasmania obligation which ensures full insurance cover on and off the water at the club and at events.

01 Senior/Master Pennant Rower  - $560 (+ $100 Rowing Tas Registration fee).  
​This includes use of club boats, rowing equipment, coaching, boat storage, ergo machines, gym and clubroom facilities. Entitles you to row at pennants and State Championship events.  

02 Senior/Master Club Rower - $560 (+ $60 Rowing Tas Registration fee).
​This includes use of club boats, rowing equipment, coaching, boat storage, gym and clubroom facilities. This registration entitles you to row at club regattas, 

03 Junior Pennant Rower - $325 (+ $100 Rowing Tas Registration fee).
This includes use of club boats, rowing equipment, coaching, boat storage, gym and clubroom facilities.  Entitles you to row at pennants and State Championship events.  

04 Junior Club/School Rower - $325 (+ $60 Rowing Tas Registration fee).
This includes use of club boats, rowing equipment, coaching, boat storage, gym and clubroom facilities.  

05 Coach/Assistant Coach - (non rower) $60 Rowing Tas Registration fee.
Provides indemnity as required by Rowing Tasmania.

06 Coxwain - $60 Rowing Tas Registration fee
Provides indemnity as required by Rowing Tasmania.

07 Life Member - By invitation ; no charge

08 & 09 - Ommitted


10 Parent Volunteer/Other  - (non rower).  No charge.
Provides indemnity as required by Rowing Tasmania.
This does not include a SBRC membership rights.


11 First Year Novice Rower - $140 (+ $60 Rowing Tas Registration fee)
Membership to 15th December, 2023 only.
Novice Rowers are then invited to upgrade to full Junior Member status. 
This membership includes use of club boats, rowing equipment, coaching, boat storage, gym and clubroom facilities.

12 - Learn to Row 6-weeks for Masters (age 27+) - $120 (includes $60 Rowing Tas registration fee). This includes coaching on-water at least once per week (weather permitting) for 6 weeks.
